Thomas Land Part 1

A little here and there in my catching up now, but here we will look back at April after I just returned from a trip to Vancouver. I wanted to do something special for Ken, so we all packed up in the car and drove out to near Fuji mountain where we could experience Thomas land at Fuji Q Highlands.
It was cold up there. Happy I brought my jacket.
Ken could excitedly pose with Thomas and Hiro, the Japanese star of Hero of the Rails.
Ken and Ritsy love Lady, we could see her from a ride around on Thomas.
We could also take Harold the helicopter up for a spin.
Flying!

Like Sands through the hour glass..

Eh?
Sometimes I bump into the odd person that reads my blog and I am often shocked. Not because people are reading my blog, but because I forgot I had one. Let's just start back with a few pictures as I gotta put Ken to bed...
Mona is fully supporting her neck and started rolling on her own recently.
She really is a Canadian cutey.
Arfie is improving his behavior and has his moments.
Ken still charms the ladies though.
We are all happy to be back to the blogsphere....

Ken takes the helm on camera

Probably starting from this moment that he was trying to grab it from his pregnant mother, Ken has figured out how to take pictures. Okay, I might have showed him, but it stopped him from putting his fingers on the lens. I have been enjoying the surprising pics that show up on my camera.
Lots of self portraits...

And Arfie, of course.

taes wedding finale

By this point, the excitement was wearing the little guy and he was burning out.
And sleeping in no time.
The newlyweds cut the cake.
Nice group shot from our table. Chie, Chris, Aki, Rits, Ken(just waking up) and myself.
At the next table was Aki and Tae's friend Saori and her daughter.
Tae and hubby came about lighting candles and they previewed their next hit single, 'It's Saturday, Let's go out'. Catchy tune. All joking aside, Tae was looking great, tough to notice that she was 6 months pregnant at the time.
Ken saw his chance and was making his moves.

A good little video to catch a nice moment at the wedding. We had a great time and, of course, wish all the best to Tae and her new husband!
